Al-Hilal are one of the most important teams in the Pro League. And just like Al-Ittihad, Al-Nassr, Al-Ahli and Al-Ettifaq, they spent a lot of money this summer to add top players to help improve the team and allow them to compete for the title. They invested nearly $400 million during the last transfer window in the signings of stars such as Bono, Kalidou Koulibaly, Sergej Milonkovic-Savic, Ruben Neves, Malcom and Aleksandar Mitrovic.

But undoubtedly the most important player of those who arrived at the club is Neymar. After a troubled departure from Paris Saint-Germain, the Brazilian forward decided to start a new stage in his professional career and chose Saudi Arabia in exchange for a multi-million dollar salary.

However, things did not turn out as expected and he barely played five games for Al-Hilal, between the Pro League and the Asian Champions League. There he showed good performances, scored a goal and provided three assists, but while he was with the Brazilian National Team during the October international break he suffered a tough knee injury that will prevent him from playing for a long time.

So now the club is looking for a replacement who is at his level and can lead the team this season. And, according to Sport newspaper, the chosen one is Raphinha. The Barcelona winger has proven to be very talented and that pleases the Saudis, although the negotiations will not be easy.

How much is he worth?

Raphinha arrived at Barcelona in 2022 from Leeds United, in exchange for more than $60 million. The Blaugranas had hoped that he would become one of the stars of the team, especially after the departure of Ousmane Dembélé, but his performances have not been satisfactory. That is why the chiefs may be willing to negotiate his sale, as long as the offers are at least for the same amount of money they paid a year ago.
