Paris Saint-Germain consider that the squad is not yet complete. Despite the arrivals of Ousmane Dembélé, Marco Asensio and Goncalo Ramos, and the return of Kylian Mbappé after resolving his conflict with Nasser Al-Khelaifi, Luis Enrique believes he does not have enough alternatives for the attack and that is why the team has struggled to score goals.

That is why they have targeted two French forwards. One is winger Bradley Barcola, who despite his young age stands out at Olympique Lyonnais and has attracted the attention of several clubs in Europe. In fact, rumors indicate that, in addition to PSG, Chelsea are interested in signing him.

The other striker Luis Enrique wants is Randal Kolo Muani. The 24-year-old is a native of Bondy, like Mbappé, and has a good relationship with him. In fact, they were teammates in the France national team during the Qatar 2022 World Cup. He has been shining for a year at Eintracht Frankfurt, where he has scored 25 goals in 48 games.

According to Sky, Paris Saint-Germain made an offer of $70 million for him, but the German side rejected it as insufficient. In principle, they intend to receive almost $110 million for him, although reports indicate that Nasser Al-Khelaifi is not willing to pay that much and will try to negotiate to reach an agreement that satisfies both parties.

Coach needs him

It is no surprise that PSG are looking for strikers. At the start of Ligue 1 2023/24, the team's main problem was the lack of goals. In the first match they drew 0-0 against Lorient at the Parc des Princes; while this Saturday they drew 1-1 against Toulouse FC. PSG's only goal was scored by Kylian Mbappé on penalty. The Parisian side will look for their first win of the season next Saturday, August 26, when they play at home against Lens.
