Manchester United did not have a good start in the Champions League. They lost 3 of the 4 matches they played in group A and are last in the standings with 3 points. They already know that they will not be able to catch the leaders Bayern Munich, who have a perfect score and have already secured the first place. The good news is that their closest rivals, Copenhagen and Galatasaray, have just one point more than them.

But the only way for them to advance to the next stage of the tournament is to win their two remaining matches. It will not be an easy task, as the first of them will be this Wednesday in Turkey and then, on December 12, against Bayern Munich at Old Trafford.

The first step will be against Galatasaray. Coach Erik Ten Hag put together a starting lineup with the best he has, considering that some of the stars of the squad are injured and will not be able to play, such as Lisandro Martinez, Casemiro and Christian Eriksen. The good news is that Rasmus Hojlund, the top scorer in the Champions League with 5 goals, is recovered and will be part of the team.

Manchester United's XI will be: Andre Onana; Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, Luke Shaw; Scott McTominay, Sofyan Amrabat; Antony, Bruno Fernandes, Alejandro Garnacho; Rasmus Hojlund. On the bench will be Tom Heaton, Altay Bayindir, Sergio Reguilon, Diogo Dalot, Raphael Varane, Hannibal Mejbri, Facundo Pellistri, Daniel Gore, Kobbie Mainoo, Anthony Martial and Joe Hugill.

For them it is also a key match

Galatasaray are currently in third place with 4 points. But they know that if they get at least a draw this Wednesday, they will have a great chance to advance to the round of 16, as they will face Copenhagen in the last match and will compete directly with them for the goal. Coach Okan Baruk chose this XI: Fernando Muslera; Sacha Boey, Abdulkerim Bardakci, Kaan Ayhan, Angeliño; Lucas Torreira, Tanguy NDombele, Hakim Ziyech, Dries Mertens, Wilfried Zaha; Mauro Icardi.
