Both clubs want to sign top forwards and this could be the solution.

It seems that this summer everyone wants to sign forwards. The world's top clubs have been trying for weeks to convince attacking players to join their teams, and have been competing with each other for a number of stars. In fact, the topics that have captured the most attention in the media and social networks have been related to strikers: Kylian Mbappé's conflict with Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich and Tottenham's negotiations for Harry Kane.

But these are not the only cases. Barcelona could lose Ousmane Dembélé this week, if PSG executes his exit clause. Manchester United took Denmark's Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta and Arsenal paid a fortune to Chelsea to buy Germany's Kai Havertz.

Now, Chelsea and Juventus could add another chapter to this story. According to Mirror, the English side has a plan: they will propose to Juventus to make an exchange between Romelu Lukaku and Dusan Vlahovic. In this way, the Blues would solve two problems. On the one hand, they will be able to sign a star striker without having to spend money; on the other hand, they will be able to get rid of the high salary of the Belgian player, who is not taken into account by the new coach Mauricio Pochettino.

This could also be satisfactory for Juventus, who have tried to sign Lukaku this summer and have not yet been able to make an offer that Chelsea consider appropriate. But there could be a problem for the Vecchia Signora, as they would be trading a 23-year-old striker with a promising future for a 30-year-old, who in recent seasons was far from his best.

How much is each one worth?

According to the specialized website Transfermarkt, Dusan Vlahovic is worth almost twice as much as Romelu Lukaku. The Juventus player is valued at €70 million, while the Chelsea player is worth €40 million.
