His signing has finally been made official

Real Madrid confirms the signing of Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund. After three successful seasons defending the colors of the German club, the talented English midfielder embarks on a new adventure in LaLiga, in a deal that could bring in over 130 million EUR to the Signal Iduna Park coffers.

Jude Bellingham has been the target of desire for several European giants for a long time, but Real Madrid showed particular interest in the young player. The Madrid club has been closely monitoring the possibility of his transfer for months, and weeks ago, the midfielder gave the green light to the move. Finally, this Wednesday, the official announcement was made.

Real Madrid acquires the services of Jude Bellingham for the next six seasons, in exchange for a fixed fee of 103 million EUR, which, with variables included, could exceed 130 million EUR. This transfer becomes the second most expensive sale in Borussia Dortmund's history, surpassed only by Ousmane Dembélé's move to Barcelona in 2018 for 135 million EUR.

In just three seasons, Jude Bellingham has proven to be one of the most outstanding prospects in Bundesliga history. He arrived at Borussia Dortmund at just 17 years old and quickly earned a place in the starting eleven, standing out for both his quality and commitment on the field. In 132 matches, he scored 24 goals and provided 25 assists, and he lifted the DFB-Pokal trophy in 2021.

<br/>Leaving a great void

Although he couldn't conquer the Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund, Jude Bellingham leaves a difficult void to fill in the squad. However, his legacy in German football is undeniable, and now he faces a new challenge at Real Madrid, where he is expected to continue shining and contributing his talent on the international stage.
