Saudi Arabian clubs have been exceptionally active this summer, with Ballon d'Or winner Karim Benzema signing a contract with Al-Ittihad worth 200 million EUR per year after turning down a new deal at Real Madrid.

In addition, midfielder N'Golo Kanté is set to confirm his move to Al-Ittihad soon as well. The duo joins superstar Cristiano Ronaldo in the Middle East after the legendary forward signed for Al-Nassr in the winter.

However, some other players have chosen to reject lucrative moves to the Pro League. Lionel Messi turned down a 344 million EUR per year contract offer from Al-Hilal to join MLS side Inter Miami, and now Lewandowski has confirmed that he won't be joining a Saudi Arabian club amid rumors of an offer being presented.

Speaking to Mundo Deportivo about a possible move, the forward said, “No problem. So I don't think about it, because why should I think about it if there's no problem? Especially because my contract with Barcelona still runs for a while. I see what's happening in Saudi Arabia, but it doesn't worry me, because I have other priorities at the moment”.

Lewa enjoyed an incredibly successful first season at Camp Nou after moving from Bayern Munich. The Polish international scored 23 goals in LaLiga and provided seven assists as Barcelona won their first LaLiga title in four years during the 2022/23 campaign.
