Real Madrid continues its renovation process ahead of the upcoming season and has already introduced two new signings. Fran García, a left-back developed in the club and notable at Rayo Vallecano, returns to the white team after a successful season.
In addition, Florentino Pérez announced the arrival of Jude Bellingham, for whom an amount exceeding 100 million EUR was paid. However, Real Madrid's purchases do not end there, as their main objective is to sign Kylian Mbappé.
According to Ok Diario, Real Madrid has devised a plan to try to sign Mbappé. Aware that the minimum price would be 200 million EUR, the Spanish club would also be willing to offer one of its players to reduce the cost. The name that has emerged is Ferland Mendy, the French left-back who spent the last season injured.
The club's board considers that by offering 200 million EUR plus the arrival of Mendy, their chances would increase. However, we will have to wait and see how events unfold in the coming days, as Mbappé has made it clear that he will not renew his contract, and Real Madrid will have to make an effort if they truly want to sign him.
Ferland Mendy, 28 years old and of French nationality, arrived at Real Madrid in July 2019. Since then, he has played 133 games with the white team, scoring 5 goals and providing 10 assists. Although he plays as a full-back, his statistics are not impressive, which has led Madrid to seek an exit for him. Mendy has won some titles during his time at the club, with a Champions League victory being a highlight.
