Real Madrid continues to work on planning its squad for the upcoming season, and despite the recent signings of Brahim Díaz and Joselu, the club is not ruling out the possibility of signing another forward to strengthen their attacking line.
With Kylian Mbappé emerging as one of the main targets, the Madrid team is still searching for options to make a difference in the attack. After weeks of rumors surrounding names like Harry Kane and Kai Havertz, and with the interest in the French striker, another potential target has now been added to the list.
According to the Daily Mirror, Roberto Firmino has reemerged as a possible signing to reinforce Real Madrid's forward line. The 31-year-old Brazilian forward confirmed his departure from Liverpool upon the expiration of his contract, having been a key figure in recent years and winning numerous titles.
Firmino recorded 13 goals and 5 assists in 35 games last season, and now he is a desired target by the Madrid club. Real Madrid sees Firmino as an interesting option to enhance their attack, as the Brazilian brings experience, quality, and versatility to the game.
His ability to combine with teammates, goal-scoring prowess, and knack for creating opportunities could be a great addition to Carlo Ancelotti's team. Furthermore, Real Madrid would not have to pay anything for him, as he would arrive at the team as a free agent.
