Chelsea's Game-Changing Announcement

If there was one team that had a disastrous season and could be considered the biggest failure in European football this season, it is Chelsea. They were eliminated from all the competitions they participated in and failed to bounce back.

Even before the 2022 Qatar World Cup, they were knocked out of the Carabao Cup, and after the winter break, they were eliminated from the FA Cup in January. As a result, Chelsea could have focused completely on the Champions League and the domestic league, but that did not happen.

They ended the season by being eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Champions League by Real Madrid with a score of 4-0, while in the Premier League, they finished in 12th position, which leaves them out of all European competitions for the next season.

To reverse this situation and return to being a prominent team next season, Chelsea knows they need to make some changes, and one of them was in the managerial position, as they realize the need for an experienced coach.

On May 29th, Chelsea announced their new head coach, Mauricio Pochettino, who signed a two-year contract with the English club and will assume the position starting on July 1st. Chelsea recognizes Pochettino's qualities as a coach, his squad management, and his ability to motivate players, which is why they consider him the ideal coach for the team.
