Chelsea aims to strengthen their attack for the upcoming season

Mauricio Pochettino, the new coach of Chelsea, is aware that he is joining a club that had difficulties scoring goals last season, being one of the teams with the lowest number of goals in the top flight.

This has generated numerous reports in the media about the possible arrival of prominent forwards to the club, especially because, reportedly, Pochettino expressed to Ted Boehly his desire to sign a notable name.

One player who has attracted interest across Europe is Hojlund, a 20-year-old Danish player who has impressed with his performances in Serie A. Both Chelsea and Barcelona have been linked with the Danish forward, however, Atalanta is not interested in selling him, although they would be willing to let him go if a suitable offer is made.

According to the Daily Mirror, Chelsea would have to pay 43 million EUR to sign Danish international Hojlund, who scored 15 goals in an outstanding season in Serie A and has been compared on numerous occasions, favorably, to Erling Haaland.

However, according to Mail Sport, the Italian club held a meeting earlier this week where it was decided that they would demand over 100 million EUR for the young player. Reports indicate that Hojlund has made it clear that he wants to leave the club, which has led Chelsea to consider the possibility of bringing the forward to the Premier League this summer.
