Salah returns to Liverpool, but Egypt still dream of him recovering in time

This caused concern for everyone in Egypt and Liverpool. And then the news was not good, as a muscle injury was confirmed that will prevent him from playing the next matches of the tournament.

This Monday Egypt will play their third and final match in group B against Cape Verde, looking for a win to advance to the next stage. But 'Mo' will be absent, not only on the field, but in the country where the Africa Cup of Nations is taking place. Through a statement, the Egyptian FA announced: "Salah will now travel to England to receive treatment with the hope that he will join the Egyptian national team if it qualifies for the semi-finals."

Should they beat Cape Verde, Egypt will advance to the round of 16 and seek qualification to the quarterfinals.
