"Everyone is laughing at him" hurtful criticism of Kane for leaving for Bayern

The striker left Tottenham last summer and now shines in the Bundesliga.

Harry won't like it.

Harry Kane is one of the best strikers in the world. In fact, he came very close to becoming the top scorer of 2023, but was overtaken by Cristiano Ronaldo in the last week of December. Since his arrival at Bayern Munich he has scored 26 goals and provided 8 assists in 25 games, proving that he is worth even more than the $110 million the German side paid Tottenham for him last summer.

But despite his excellent performances, things are not going as well as expected. Bayern Munich lost the German Super Cup at the start of the season against RB Leipzig and were also eliminated in the first round of the German Cup against Saarbrucken, a third division club. In addition, in the Bundesliga they are behind the surprising Bayer Leverkusen.

One of the main reasons Kane decided to leave Tottenham was his desire to win titles. Despite being a top player, he was never able to be a champion in his career, neither with clubs nor with the England national team. And Bayern Munich seemed to be an ideal option to end that curse.

However, some do not agree with that decision. Former Manchester United and Chelsea player Paul Parker gave an interview to Wettfreunde and harshly criticized Harry: "You have got to respect the amount of goals he is scoring. It's definitely impressive. The problem is that he is not good to have around. The only thing he is focusing on is beating Lewandowski's record. That's the only thing he cares about and then he can come back to the Premier League to take another record". Parker is referring to the record for goals in a single Bundesliga season, which for now belongs to the Polish striker.

Parker then harshly criticized Kane for his behavior off the field: "He is very selfish. Look, everyone is laughing about him in England. People were talking about him leaving because he wanted to win trophies and he is not winning anything. On the flipped side of things, Tottenham are doing extremely well. When Harry Kane is at a club, everything is about him. Everything. I think Spurs should be happy he left them.”
