Messi also suffered physical problems. During the match against Al-Hilal in the Riyadh Season Cup, he had to be substituted due to a muscular discomfort that later prevented him from playing in Hong Kong. This caused the anger of the fans and the organizers of the event, who were forced to refund part of the value of the tickets. According to reports, Argentina's first friendly in the United States will be on March 18 against El Salvador, while the second will be on March 26 against Nigeria.
