Kylian remembers him.

Kylian Mbappé is probably the most talked about player in newspapers, TV shows and social media over the last year. His future is a mystery to fans, who are anxiously awaiting news on what will happen to him. His contract with Paris Saint-Germain will expire on June 30 and he has not yet expressed his desire: whether to continue there or become a free agent and go to Real Madrid or Liverpool.

In France, everyone wants 'Kiki' to stay for good. He is the big star of Ligue 1 and much of the prestige and appeal of the tournament depends on him continuing to wear the number 7 shirt of PSG. He has earned that importance thanks to his excellent performances: between AS Monaco and PSG, Mbappé has scored 271 goals in 358 games, making him one of the top scorers in the history of French soccer. And he is only 25 years old.

But that's not the only reason Kylian is respected in France. He has also shown an interest in other things and, for example, has a foundation called Inspired by KM that helps children and teenagers get into the workplace. And he is also very respectful of his colleagues, the players of other teams.

In particular, Mbappé is often reminded of Emiliano Sala. The Argentine striker was one of the stars of Nantes in Ligue 1 and in 2019 was to be transferred to Cardiff in exchange for nearly $18 million. But he never made it to Wales, as his plane crashed in the English Channel and he died on the spot. This sent shockwaves around the world, but particularly in France, where Sala had spent much of his professional career.

He remembers it every year

The sad accident of Emiliano Sala occurred on January 21, 2019 and since then every year every year Kylian Mbappé shares on social media a picture remembering the Argentine striker. This Sunday was no exception and 'Kiki' posted a story with a black and white photo where he is seen shaking hands with Sala, in a match between PSG and Nantes. Below the image, he wrote: "5 years" next to an emoji of two praying hands and a white dove.
