Pep Guardiola is already concerned ahead of next season in the Premier League since Manchester City could be losing Kevin De Bruyne, who is attracting interest from Saudi Arabia. Latest reports suggest that De Bruyne is now open to leaving Manchester City this summer, with Al Ittihad very interested in signing him. His contract with Man City expires in the summer of 2025, and the club is now reportedly open to selling him this summer so they don't lose him for free next summer. Now, another key player could be leaving Pep Guardiola's team this summer, which could hinder them next season. Their main goalkeeper, Ederson, could also be going to Saudi Arabia, and talks have occurred since May. Man City wants to keep the Brazilian keeper, but if the player chooses to leave, the club will listen to offers. Al Nassr is very interested in signing him and could offer him a salary package worth $60 million. Man City would replace Ederson with their backup keeper Stefan Ortega, who will become the number 1 of the team.

Rob Dawson from ESPN reports that Al Nassr is prepared to offer Ederson a contract worth nearly three times what he earns at Manchester City. The Brazilian reportedly earns around $6.5 million a year at Man City. Other reports suggest that Ederson to Al Nassr is very close and that an announcement could be made next week if there is an agreement between the Saudi Pro League club and the Premier League champions.

Football fans do not understand why Ederson would make the move, but some do understand since he has won multiple trophies with Man City. Some fans are excited for Cristiano Ronaldo since the club wants to be more competitive next season, and Ederson will help CR7 and the rest of the team a lot with his saves and passes.

Ederson with Manchester City

Ederson has played a total of 332 matches for Manchester City across all competitions. Throughout his Man City career, he conceded 257 goals and kept 155 clean sheets. With Man City, the 30-year-old won a Champions League trophy, six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, four English League Cups, two English Super Cups, a UEFA Supr Cup, and a FIFA Club World Cup.
