Mbappé and Real Madrid reached an agreement, but this is the missing detail

The French striker needs something to happen before accepting the offer.

Will he be the new Real Madrid star?

For months the most important soccer news has been the future of Kylian Mbappé. During last summer newspapers, TV shows and social media were flooded with speculation about his possible departure from Paris Saint-Germain, but he finally stayed to play there for the 2023/24 season. However, this did not mean the end of the rumors, as his contract will expire on June 30 and so far he has not announced his decision.

While in France they hope to be able to convince him, that option seems increasingly difficult. 'Kiki' has the power to activate an automatic extension clause until 2025, plus PSG made him a 4-year renewal offer with a salary of over $100 million per year. Many believe that, if his intention was to stay there, the decision would have been announced long ago.

With this scenario, his departure to another club seems to be the most likely alternative. Liverpool are one of the clubs interested in him, especially considering that Mohamed Salah has offers from Al-Ittihad and could leave for Saudi Arabia at the end of this season. The other option is Real Madrid. And Sports Zone claims that the Spanish side have reached an agreement with Mbappé's agents to sign him from next season.

However, there is one detail that prevents Los Merengues from securing the arrival of the French striker: he wants to give priority to PSG. Reports indicate that he will first listen to Nasser Al-Khelaifi and that, if the economic and sporting proposal is not enough to compete with Real Madrid, then he will definitely accept Florentino Perez's offer and next season he will wear the white jersey at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.

They will have a dream team

Should Sports Zone's information be confirmed, Real Madrid will finally have the star striker they have wanted for years. With Kylian Mbappé, they could form a dream team: Jude Bellingham as attacking midfielder, Rodrygo Goes as right-winger, Vinicius Junior as left-winger and 'Kiki' as centre-forward.
