Vini shone vs Barcelona.

Last weekend Real Madrid proved once again that they are the best team in Spain right now. They beat Barcelona 4-1 in the Super Cup final to win their first title of the year, showing an excellent performance and making fools of their rivals. Vinicius Junior was the big star of the match, as he scored a hat-trick during the first half.

But that was not the only thing he did. The Brazilian winger showed his quality and talent with the ball, dribbling the rival defenders and making them furious. He managed to get Ronald Araujo sent off in the second half, who kicked him and received the second yellow card. This caused the wrath of the Barcelona players, who instantly surrounded 'Vini' reproaching him for his attitude, as they considered what he did was a provocation.

One of the players who was most angry was Ferrán Torres. The Spanish winger had been replaced during halftime by Xavi Hernandez's decision and that, added to the defeat his team was suffering and the red card to Araujo, made him explode and dedicate harsh words to the Real Madrid star.

The Movistar+ cameras captured the exact moment in which Torres, sitting on the bench next to Pedri, said some phrases against Vinicius Junior: "I'll give him a punch, I swear", began Ferrán. And then, to the silence of his teammate, he added: "If the idiot says something to me, I'll punch him so hard, kid".

'Vini' was honest

After the match Vinicius Junior gave a press conference in which he spoke about the reactions of the Barcelona players against him and surprised everyone by taking responsibility for some of those situations: "I do everything to win. I end up making others angry. Me too and my teammates. I have to improve. I'm very sad. I am not a saint. I talk too much and make dribbles that shouldn't be made."
