Another star wants to follow Leo.

During the last 12 months the world soccer map has changed forever. In December 2022, Cristiano Ronaldo shocked everyone by announcing his decision to leave Manchester United to join Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr in exchange for a salary of more than $200 million per season. From that moment on, many other stars followed suit and left Europe for Saudi Arabia, including Karim Benzema, Neymar Junior, Sadio Mane and Riyad Mahrez.

And last summer Lionel Messi made a similar decision. When his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expired, he turned down the offers he received from European clubs and agreed to join Inter Miami. This caused a revolution in Major League Soccer, as never before had a star like him joined the league. And a few weeks later Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba also arrived.

Now the U.S. and Saudi Arabian leagues have become competition for Europe, and more and more top players are expressing their desire to play in one of them. One of the latest to do so was Antoine Griezmann. The French forward is 32 years old and still in his prime, but he is already thinking about what he will do during the last years of his professional career.

In an interview with the newspaper AS, he said: "Atlético will be almost one hundred percent my last club in Europe. It is where I want to be, where I am happiest and here I am at home. I know that the club is in favor of making an effort and we will talk about it. Beyond Europe, what I would like later is the MLS, I have always recognized that".

He has another goal too

Antoine Griezmann revealed that he wants to be a champion with Atlético Madrid: "I want to win titles with this club." But he also has another goal for 2024: the Paris Olympics. There, the French National Team will compete for the gold medal and Kylian Mbappé will probably be part of the squad. Together they won the 2018 World Cup in Russia. On whether he would like to be there too, Griezmann confessed: "We have to talk to the club. But it's a goal for me, it's a dream. I would like it."
