How Taylor Swift can complicate Real Madrid's plans in La Liga?

Real Madrid are having a near-perfect season. In La Liga they are leaders in the standings with a six-point lead over Girona and eight points over Barcelona, which gives them hope that this year they will win the title once again. The level of the team during the last months and the superiority they have shown every time they have faced Los Tozudos and Los Blaugranas are enough reasons to believe that this year they will be champions of Spain.

But Real Madrid's plans could be affected by an absurd reason and the person responsible is Taylor Swift. The American pop star will be in Spain in a few months and will give several concerts there as part of "The Eras Tour". One of those shows will be at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium on May 30, while rumors indicate that they are negotiating to add a second date that week.

The problem is that in those days Los Merengues will be facing the decisive stage of La Liga: on May 25 or 26 is scheduled to play the last day of the Spanish tournament and there Carlo Ancelotti's team must face Real Betis in Madrid. Considering that the organization of Taylor Swift's concert needs three or four days to prepare the infrastructure and move from city to city, this could be a problem.

What will they do?

According to The Athletic, Real Madrid asked La Liga to reschedule the last game of the season in order to prepare the stadium for The Eras Tour. But if at that stage of the tournament Los Merengues or Real Betis still have to define their position in La Liga (either the title, qualification to international tournaments or relegation), all the matches in which those objectives are being decided must be played simultaneously, which would make it impossible to change the date of the game.
