Coach Luis De La Fuente confirmed the XI to play in Tbilisi.

The Spanish National Team will play this Friday their third match for the qualifiers for the Euro 2024 to be played between June and July next year in Germany. So far they have won one match (3-0 against Norway) and lost another (2-0 against Scotland). This places them in fourth place in Group A with 3 points, far behind the leaders, Scotland, who have 12, and one behind Georgia and Norway.

That is why this Friday's match against Georgia in Tbilisi is crucial for the Spaniards, as a victory will bring them closer to the qualification places, while a defeat will leave them in a very complicated situation in the future.

Coach Luis De La Fuente had to assemble the team without some of his stars, such as Pedri, who suffered a muscle injury in Barcelona and has not been able to play the last few La Liga matches. Jordi Alba, who a few weeks ago announced his decision to retire from the Spanish national team despite being considered a very important player by the manager, is also missing.

However, the Iberian team will have several top players who excel in the world's top clubs. The starting lineup decided by De La Fuente is: Unai Simón; Dani Carvajal, Aymeric Laporte, Robin Le Normand, José Luis Gayá; Fabián Ruiz, Rodri, Gavi; Marco Asensio, Alvaro Morata and Dani Olmo. Also on the bench will be Kepa Arrizabalaga, David Raya, Pau Torres, David García, Alex Balde, Cesar Azpilicueta, Alejandro Baena, Martín Zubimendi, Nicholas Williams, Mikel Merino, Lamine Yamal and Joselu.

The hosts rely on their star

Georgia will try to get at least a draw against Spain and, for that, they have hopes on what their main player can do: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Napoli's star and one of the best wingers in Europe. The XI decided by coach Willy Sagnol is: Mamardashvili; Azarov, Kashia, Kvervelia, Goholesishvili; Gagnidze, Lobjanidze, Aburjanidze, Kiteishvili; Kvaratshkelia, Mikautadze.
