Neymar wants to return to Barcelona

The return of Neymar to Barcelona is once again in the spotlight of the transfer market. According to Sport, the Brazilian player will not be considered by Paris Saint-Germain and would be interested in returning to Camp Nou.

Although Neymar hasn't played since his serious injury in February, his previous form is exciting the Barcelona board. On the other hand, Marca points out that the French team is planning a complete squad restructuring and is looking for a new destination for the Brazilian outside Parc des Princes.

After Lionel Messi's rejection of Barcelona, Neymar has emerged as one of the possible signings to replace the Argentine. Israeli representative Pini Zahavi, who has a close relationship with Joan Laporta, has been working to bring the winger closer to the Blaugrana team.

Zahavi helped Neymar in his move to PSG and is now seeking to facilitate his return to Barcelona. However, the arrival of the former Barcelona player presents several challenges. The first is his high salary since Neymar is one of the highest-paid players in the world, and the club cannot currently afford his wage bill. Additionally, the player is under contract until 2025, which would require a transfer fee. Although the possibility of a loan is not ruled out.

The third complication lies in Xavi Hernández's refusal to incorporate Neymar. The coach addressed the rumors during an interview: "Neymar? It's a surprise that his name has come up. In theory, Neymar is not in our plans. I like him a lot, but we have different priorities." According to Sport, the coach would be willing to accept his arrival as long as his requests for reinforcements in other positions are fulfilled.
