Spurs earned a valuable 3-3 draw at the Etihad Stadium and Postecoglou deserves credit.

Undoubtedly the match between Manchester City and Tottenham was one of the most interesting of the weekend in Europe. They are two teams that have started this season with the aim of competing for the Premier League title and so far they are succeeding. In fact, after the 3-3 draw they both remained close to the top positions in the standings: The Citizens are third, 3 points behind leaders Arsenal; while The Spurs are only 3 points behind.

The match had many emotions and changes in the scoreboard. The visitors scored the opener through Heung-Min Son after 7 minutes, but the hosts quickly netted the equaliser. And then they completed the comeback with a beautiful goal by Phil Foden. In the following minutes of the first half they controlled the ball and were far superior to their rivals. So they went to the break and everything seemed to indicate that Manchester City were going to win.

But during the second half things changed. Tottenham showed another attitude and scored the equaliser thanks to Giovani Lo Celso. A mistake by Bissouma allowed the Citizens to take the lead again and in the last minutes Dejan Kulusevski made it 3-3.

After the match, Tottenham's hero gave an interview and revealed that the secret of the team's recovery was two words from Ange Postecoglou during the break: "stop thinking". The Swedish winger said: "The coach was angry with us at half-time. He told us to just play. Stop thinking and just play. That's what we have to do."

They are doing well

Tottenham have proven to be one of the best teams in England this season. Not only are they in the top spots in the Premier League standings, but they are doing it despite a lot of important players missing. Cristian Romero has missed the last three games due to a heavy suspension, while other stars such as Micky Van De Ven, Rodrigo Bentancur and James Maddison are injured.
