The uncertainty surrounding Kylian Mbappé's future has kept the football world on edge, and now a key demand that the player has presented to Paris Saint-Germain for a potential transfer to Real Madrid has been revealed.
According to reports from the newspaper Marca, the French forward has requested that the Parisian club lower his transfer fee, in order to allow Real Madrid to offer him a more substantial signing bonus as part of his contract.
The situation has become complicated for PSG, as Mbappé has made it clear that he does not intend to renew his current contract. Faced with the risk of losing him in 2024 as a free agent, the French club has agreed to consider selling the talented player during this transfer window.
However, Mbappé desires to remain until 2024 to receive his annual net salary of 60 million euros, along with a loyalty bonus of 90 million euros agreed upon in his contract. Although Real Madrid and PSG had reached a transfer agreement for a total amount of 250 million euros (200 million fixed and 50 million in variables), Mbappé's final approval is still pending.
His objective is to obtain financial compensation in line with his expectations. If he cannot receive the 90 million euros loyalty bonus, Mbappé seeks PSG to lower his transfer fee, which would allow Real Madrid to offer him a more substantial signing bonus.
