The Belgian midfielder may get a new chance in England.

This week Eden Hazard surprised everyone by sharing a message on social media announcing that he had decided to end his professional career. This summer he terminated his contract with Real Madrid by mutual agreement, after four seasons in which he suffered many physical problems, never showed the level expected of him and played very few games.

During the last transfer window it was rumored that he had received offers from several clubs in different countries. One of them was Inter Miami, who since the arrival of Lionel Messi have been trying to sign stars to join him. Another North American team, Vancouver Whitecaps, was also mentioned. Other alternatives were Botafogo of Brazil, clubs in Saudi Arabia and Racing White Daring Molenbeek of Belgium, where his brother Kylian plays.

But Eden was not satisfied with any of these options and decided to hang up his boots, saying "You must listen to yourself and say stop at the right time". However, just a few days later a new opportunity could appear that might make him change his mind.

West Ham United first-team coach Kevin Nolan said in an interview with talkSPORT Drive: “I'd have the Hazard of Chelsea at West Ham, yeah. I'm sure if he wanted to come and trial we'd, I mean, I'd certainly be willing to. I don't know about the gaffer (David Moyes). But I'd certainly want to trial him". He added: “It's sad that at 32 he's decided to bow out in all honesty because I believe someone of his calibre of play could play at the top level for plenty more years”.

He left a great memory in England

Undoubtedly the best moment in Eden Hazard's professional career was in the Premier League. Between 2012 and 2019 he shone at Chelsea and was recognized by most players, coaches and fans as one of England's top stars. In 352 games with The Blues he scored 110 goals and provided 85 assists.
