Shakira doesn't forget Pique and shows it with the title of his new song

Shakira and Gerard Pique were one of the most famous couples in the world for more than a decade. They dated between 2010 and 2022 and had two children, Milan (born in 2013) and Sasha (born in 2015). The success of both in their professional careers made the media and social networks very interested in knowing details of their private life and this increased much more after their scandalous separation in 2022.

The former Barcelona player began a parallel relationship with Clara Chia Marti, a situation that eventually Shakira discovered and caused the couple to break up after 12 years. Since then both have continued with their lives, but the Colombian singer has dedicated messages to the father of her children through her songs.

In January of this year she released a song with Argentine producer Bizarrap, with lyrics clearly aimed at Pique and his decisions. And now she seems to be doing the same with her new tune.

In an interview with The Sun, Shakira revealed that the title of her latest song will be "The Boss". This seems to be a subtle reference to the nickname allegedly given to her by Gerard Pique's friends during the time they were a couple. According to rumors, she never got along with them, so they secretly referred to the singer as "La Patrona" (The Boss, in Spanish), alluding to her supposed bad character.

Piqué has, in addition to his career as a soccer player, other business ventures. One of his projects was related to tennis, taking charge of the organization of the Davis Cup, one of the most prestigious tournaments in the world. But things did not go well and the ITF terminated the contract early. Now the Swiss tennis player Stan Wawrinka showed his anger for the current situation of the tournament, which has lost prestige in recent years.
