The English striker could not keep his cool and did something unexpected.

The match between Manchester United and Nottingham Forest will be long remembered by English fans. The Red Devils had an awful start and before 4 minutes were already 2-0 down at Old Trafford. But they quickly reacted and got their first goal through Christian Eriksen, who finished after a drilled cross from Marcus Rashford.

The England striker was also involved in his team's other goals. In the second half he sent a pass to Bruno Fernandes, who assisted with a header to Casemiro for the equaliser. And minutes later, referee Stuart Attwell awarded The Red Devils a penalty for an alleged foul on Rahsford, in a move that was disputed by the Nottingham Forest players. Fernandes struck the ball just inside goalkeeper Matt Turner's right-hand post to make it 3-2.

In such a crazy game, it is normal for players to have unexpected reactions to the tension they are facing. However, no one imagined that Marcus Rashford could react as he did in the final minutes.

After 36 minutes of the second half, Manchester United were already 3-2 up and needed to control the game to prevent the rival team from attacking. In that scenario, the striker recovered the ball near the line and the referee sanctioned a foul for Nottingham Forest. This provoked the fury of Rashford, who without thinking kicked the ball and hit a ball boy who was on the side of the field. For this he was booked, although on social media many fans felt that he should have been sent off.

Not an ideal start for him

Marcus Rashford was Manchester United's top scorer last season. He netted 30 goals in 56 games and was a key part of the team. However, in the 2023/24 Premier League he has yet to score in the 3 games he has played.
