May follow in Cristiano's footsteps, Salah made final decision on Saudi Arabian bid

Saudi Arabian teams seem to have bottomless wallets. Since Cristiano Ronaldo accepted Al-Nassr's offer of $200 million a year, soccer has changed forever. European clubs no longer dominate the world and more and more stars are choosing to play in the Pro League instead of the Premier League, La Liga or Serie A.

The latter did not have enough with the Brazilian midfielder and went in search of Liverpool's biggest star, Mohamed Salah, to form an attacking partnership with Karim Benzema. According to Al Riyadiah, they offered the Reds €60 million to buy him, and the player an impressive salary of €180 million for 2 seasons.

However, Salah decided to turn it down as his intention is to stay at the Premier League side. This was stated by his agent, Ramy Abbas. The journalist Fabrizio Romano published the statements of Abbas, who said: “If we considered leaving Liverpool this year, we wouldn't have renewed the contract at the club last summer. Mohamed remains committed to Liverpool”.

Need to improve

Jurgen Klopp surely celebrated the news, as Salah is the biggest star of the team. However, the coach knows that the Egyptian winger alone will not be enough to improve the team's poor performance last season. That is why the Reds have already agreed to sign Dominik Szoboszlai, for whom they paid €70 million to RB Leipzig, and Alexis MacAllister, who arrived from Brighton for €42 million.
