After one season away, he returns to Paris

Argentine player Leandro Paredes will bid farewell to Juventus and be forced to return to Paris Saint-Germain after the Italian club decided not to retain his services for the upcoming season and not exercise the buy option.

Paredes arrived at Juventus on loan during the final stages of the winter transfer window. The 28-year-old Argentine midfielder seemed to be a perfect fit for Serie A due to his style of play, but the reality has been quite different.

According to reports from Italy, Juventus will not exercise the buy option on the player. Paredes' performance has not convinced the management or coach Allegri. In fact, they are already looking for a player to occupy his position next season, and the names of Koopmeiners (Atalanta) and Morten Hjulmand (Lecce) are strongly rumored.

"It was a very difficult year, and it hurts not to achieve the goals we had, but I carry with me the friendship of a group of players and incredible people. I just wanted to thank the fans who always supported me throughout the year, but above all, I will always carry each of my teammates with me," expressed Leandro Paredes through his social media as he bid farewell to Juventus.

The Argentine midfielder, who won the World Cup title with the Argentine National Team in Qatar 2022, participated in 35 matches wearing the Juventus jersey, scoring one goal. However, he was also absent due to a hamstring injury that kept him out of competition for several matchdays.
