The English striker is shining in his first season with Bayern Munich.

This summer Bayern Munich made the most expensive purchase in Bundesliga history. They paid more than $100 million to Tottenham for Harry Kane to fulfill Thomas Tuchel's wish. The coach insisted for weeks to the club's chiefs to sign him, as he felt they needed a center-forward and that he was the ideal player for the team's style of play.

And he wasn't wrong. Kane's start to the season in Germany has been amazing. In Champions League he scored 4 goals in 4 games in group A and led the team to qualify to the round of 16. And in Bundesliga his stats are even better: in 17 games he has netted 11 goals, an average close to two goals per game. In fact, he has two hat-tricks in a row, against Borussia Dortmund and Heidenheim.

These numbers obviously make him the top scorer of the season in Germany. But that's not all. He has also already scored more goals than last season's top scorers. Niclas Füllkrug and Christopher Nkunku, with Werder Bremen and RB Leipzig respectively, netted 16 goals in the entire 2022/23 tournament. And Harry needed just 11 games to surpass them.

Now the English striker's goal is to overtake Robert Lewandowski and Erling Haaland. They were for years the top scorers in the Bundesliga. In fact, the Polish player holds the record for goals in a single season in the German league: in 2021/22, before leaving for Barcelona, he scored 41 goals.

He also has other concerns

Although Harry Kane has always assured that scoring goals is very important to him, he never hid what his real obsession is. Despite being one of the world's top soccer stars, he has never won a title in his professional career. That was one of the reasons why he left Tottenham, as he believes that at Bayern Munich he will have a better chance of becoming a champion.
