Antoine Griezmann is one of the standout players of recent years. The Atletico Madrid forward has been a key player for Diego Simeone's squad since his return to the Spanish capital.
After a brief spell at FC Barcelona, the Frenchman didn't produce his best numbers, which led to his inevitable return to ‘Los Colchoneros’ At 32 years old, Griezmann knows that he has only a few years of prime football left and is considering other markets.
One of those markets is the Saudi League, which has recently recruited several top players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar, among others. Nevertheless, according to international outlet reports, Griezmann himself has refused to move to Saudi Arabia
Nonetheless, his departure could happen next season, and the player himself has revealed where he might go.
During the pre-match press conference ahead of the friendly between France and Germany, Griezmann shared his opinion about Saudi Arabia. He mentioned that the league in the Middle Eastern country offers incredible amounts of money, and some players want to secure the financial future of their children and grandchildren, which he considered completely normal. Regarding the possibility of him moving to the Saudi Pro League, the Frenchman stated that despite having a family and three children, it wasn't an easy decision to make.
