The Red Devils need to find replacements and have targeted this player.

Manchester United have serious problems. In the last few weeks, two of their main players have been involved in scandals that make their future uncertain and could make the English club lose almost $200 million.

Antony was denounced by his ex-girlfriend, Gabriela Cavallin, for alleged domestic violence and is being investigated by the police in England and Brazil. That is why the side's chiefs decided to give him a leave of absence until more details of the case are known. And Jadon Sancho had a quarrel with coach Erik Ten Hag, who decided not to call him up for the match against Arsenal last week and then said that the player had not been well during training, to which Sancho responded on social media accusing him of lying.

With this scenario, it is hard to think that Antony and Sancho will be playing for Manchester United again in the near future. That is why The Red Devils are looking for solutions, since both are forwards and without them the squad has lost attacking power.

According to Daily Mail, the target to join the club is Anwar El Ghazi, a 28-year-old winger who has Premier League experience, having played for Aston Villa and Everton between 2018 and 2022. The Dutch player is currently at PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands, but in case of receiving a call from Manchester United he could leave there and arrive as a free agent in England. That is why The Red Devils could sign him right now, despite the fact that the transfer window in Europe has already closed.

Coach needs options

Without Antony and Jadon Sancho, Manchester United lost two of its main forwards. Now boss Erik Ten Hag only has Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Rasmus Hojlund and youngsters Alejandro Garnacho and Facundo Pellistri. This is too little for a team that aspire to compete for the Premier League and Champions League titles.
