The attacking midfielder has yet to decide where he will play next season.

Eden Hazard arrived at Real Madrid in 2019 as one of the biggest stars in world soccer. His great performances had put him in that place, as he had been shining in the Premier League for years with Chelsea and had shown a great level in the Russia 2018 World Cup with the Belgium National Team, when they reached the semifinals after eliminating Brazil.

However, his experience in Spain was not positive. Los Merengues paid $125 million for him, hoping that he would make Cristiano Ronaldo, who had left for Juventus, forget about him. But none of that happened and throughout his 4 seasons at La Casa Blanca he was never able to show his best level. There he played 76 games and scored just 7 goals.

That is why this summer Florentino Perez negotiated with him to end his contract one year before the expiration date and he became a free agent as of July 1. Since then there have been rumors of his possible arrival at different clubs, such as Inter Miami, Vancouver Whitecaps, Racing White Daring Molenbeek and Boca Juniors, but he has not accepted any offer.

But now he could have an unbeatable opportunity to try to become a top player again. According to Sport newspaper, Crystal Palace are interested in signing him for this season and will do their best to convince him in this last week of the transfer window. Coach Roy Hodgson trusts in his talent and believes he can add quality to his team to try to do well in the Premier League.

He spent his best years there

Eden Hazard was for a long time one of the Premier League's top stars. In 2012 he arrived from Lille to Chelsea and quickly became a key player in the team. In his 7 seasons with The Blues he played 352 games, scored 110 goals and provided 85 assists.
