Barcelona is currently in the midst of preparations for sales and departures ahead of the summer transfer market. The Blaugrana club needs to make sales in order to comply with their viability plan and register new signings.
If they are unable to sell players, the board's plans could undergo significant modifications, and they may even consider the possibility of not making any changes to the current squad. So far, three Barcelona players are on the list of potential departures: Ansu Fati, Franck Kessié, and Eric García.
Ansu Fati, who made his debut in 2019 and generated high expectations among the Culés, has shown a performance below expectations in the past two seasons. Barcelona would be willing to let him go for an offer exceeding 40 million EUR. However, Fati's reluctance to leave the club complicates his potential departure.
As for Franck Kessié and Eric García, both arrived at Barcelona as free agents, meaning the club didn't have to pay a transfer fee for their signings. This would facilitate their departure, but so far, no club has shown interest in signing both players.
According to reports from Javi Miguel, Kessié has reportedly agreed to leave the team, and the board is seeking offers around 35 million EUR for the midfielder. On the other hand, Eric García has been placed on the transfer list and will not be considered by Xavi Hernández.
