Los Merengues are looking for alternatives in case they cannot convince the French striker.

Everyone in the soccer world knows that Florentino Perez's obsession has a name: Kylian Mbappé. The Real Madrid president has been trying for a long time to persuade the 2018 World Cup winner to wear the white shirt of the Casa Blanca and thus add shine to an already brilliant squad.

When, weeks ago, the player announced that his intention was not to renew his contract with PSG, which expires in 2024, there was hope in Spain that the long-awaited transfer could finally happen.

However, the situation is not at all easy, as Mbappé has more than one offer on the table. On one hand, there is a chance that he will remain in France until June next year, when he will be free to negotiate with any club. On the other hand, in the last few hours Liverpool have joined the race to sign the striker, preparing an offer of $300 million.

With this scenario, Real Madrid wasted no time and has already targeted another top-class player to add to its forward line. It is Harry Kane, the Tottenham Hotspur star and all-time goalscorer of the English National Team, who at almost 30 years of age apparently wants a change of club in order to win titles.

Florentino, on the charge for Kane

Real Madrid would be willing to offer $95 million to sign the English striker, who last season scored 32 goals and provided 5 assists. However, the Spanish club is not the only one targeting Kane, as Bayern Munich and Manchester United have also shown interest and could compete to sign the player.
