Henry wants to help Haaland become better

Manchester City's Norwegian striker, Erling Haaland, had an interesting conversation with the legendary Thierry Henry in a post-match interview for CBS. Haaland, who had just won the coveted Champions League with his team, sought advice from the former French forward to improve his game.

Henry pointed out that Haaland does nothing wrong but suggested that he explore more playing on the right side when he has his back to the goal, as there is room for improvement there. The iconic French striker stated that if Haaland could master that move to the other side with his other foot, he could score "100 goals a week."

Haaland laughed and thanked Henry for the advice, mentioning that at 22 years old, he is constantly learning as a footballer. He acknowledged that there is a significant difference between the striker who signed for Borussia Dortmund in December 2019 and the player he has become.

Statistics demonstrate Haaland's success in the current season. The Norwegian attacker has excelled in the Premier League, scoring 52 goals in 53 matches. These impressive numbers place him among the best forwards in the game today. Additionally, Haaland has secured the Golden Boot, the prestigious award given to the top scorer in European leagues.

In the Premier League, Haaland has scored 36 goals in 35 matches, while in the recently conquered Champions League, he has netted 12 goals in 11 matches. These figures reflect his remarkable performance and establish him as one of the most outstanding players in the history of football.
