They want him.

With just four days left until the transfer window closes in Europe's top leagues, clubs must hurry to agree on the players they need to face the second half of the season. They have time until January 31 and, if they fail to do so by that deadline, they will no longer have the chance.

Klopp's departure unleashes chaos at Liverpool: star has doubts about his future

In England the giants have not made too many signings. While there were rumors about the possible signing of stars like Karim Benzema by Chelsea or Manchester United, that has not happened so far. One transfer was the departure of Kalvin Phillips from Manchester City to West Ham United. But probably the most important signing was Timo Werner, who left RB Leipzig to join Tottenham.

However, Spurs are still not satisfied. Coach Ange Postecoglou has done a great job for them to compete with the other English giants, but he has struggled because of the large number of injured players in the squad, as well as the African Cup of Nations call-ups of some stars. That's why they are interested in buying a star player from London rivals Conor Gallagher.

According to Football Insider, Tottenham are preparing an impressive offer of over $100 million for the Chelsea and England midfielder. He has been a key player for coach Mauricio Pochettino this season, but curiously the club's chiefs have been considering selling him for months. Despite his good performances, they seem to prefer to receive a fortune for him instead of enjoying his talent on the pitch.

What does the manager think?

Mauricio Pochettino was recently asked about the possible departure of Conor Gallagher in the middle of the season and his response was: "At the moment, so far, he's doing well, fantastic for the team. He's playing because he deserves to. About the future, it's about the club and player and what they decide to do. I try to give my best opinion and advice to the club".
