Fans are not happy.

This Sunday's game against Tottenham may be one of the last chances for coach Erik Ten Hag. The poor performances they have shown and the disappointing results they have achieved during the 2023/24 season have caused harsh criticism for the Manchester United coach. Therefore, if things do not improve soon, his future at the club may be at risk.

But this time they have a difficult mission, as they face one of the best teams in the Premier League. The Spurs have raised their level a lot since the arrival of coach Ange Postecoglou and are close to Liverpool in the tournament standings. It is key for them to get a victory that will allow them to get closer, especially considering that Manchester City already beat Newcastle and are also close to the top.

Things started perfectly for The Red Devils, as 3 minutes into the first half Rasmus Hojlund netted the opener. Marcus Rashford assisted him with a backheel pass into the box and he took his time to dribble past an opposing defender and find the space to shoot with his left foot. It was the Danish striker's second Premier League goal.

However, the joy was short-lived for the hosts. After the goal, Tottenham gradually began to control the ball, to push their opponents into their own box and to create dangerous chances. Richarlison scored the leveller after 19 minutes with a header after a floated cross from Pedro Porro from the corner. Then, just before the break, Marcus Rashford netted the second goal for Ten Hag's team.

Fans are not satisfied

After Tottenham's goal, many Manchester United fans expressed their anger with Andre Onana. They believe that the goalkeeper could have had a better reaction to stop Porro's cross before Richarlison scored. "Onana is such a fraud," wrote one on social media. Another opined, "Onana gives no assurance on free kicks. He's awful". And a third added: "If I say what I think of Onana, they'll close my account for life."
