This Sunday will be one of the most interesting matches in European soccer this week. At Old Trafford, Manchester United will face Tottenham Hotspur. The hosts have been struggling lately, as the team's performances have been disappointing and that has caused harsh criticism to the players and Dutch manager Erik Ten Hag. At the moment, with 31 points, they are out of the qualification zone for international tournaments and far behind the leaders Liverpool.

Spurs are in a completely different situation. Since the arrival of coach Ange Postecoglou, they have found a style of play that satisfies the fans, while allowing them to achieve good results. In fact, they are only 6 points off the top of the standings and a win will bring them even closer to the Reds.

But one thing both teams have in common. They have had serious injury problems throughout the season that have made the coaches' job difficult. Manchester United missed stars like Lisandro Martinez, Harry Maguire and Mason Mount during most of the season, while Tottenham suffered the same with key players like Cristian Romero, Ivan Perisic and James Maddison. In addition, Heung-Min Son, Yvess Bissouma and Pape Sarr left with their respective national teams to play in the Asia Cup and Africa Cup.

The Red Devils' starting lineup this Sunday at Old Trafford will be: Andre Onana; Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Raphael Varane, Johnny Evans, Diogo Dalot; Christian Eriksen, Kobbie Mainoo, Bruno Fernandez; Alejandro Garnacho, Rasmus Hojlund, Marcus Rashford. Also, on the bench will be Tom Heaton, Altay Bayindir, Lisandro Martinez, Willy Kambwala, Scott McTominay, Casemiro, Omari Forson, Facundo Pellistri and Antony.
