Real Madrid's Vinicius got a Michael Jordan tattoo and was mocked for this absurd mistake

The Brazilian winger is a fan of the NBA and that's why he decided to pay homage to MJ, but something went wrong.

Vini made a mistake.

Vinicius Junior is one of the best players in the world. In fact, many consider him the best in his position. Since his arrival at Real Madrid from Flamengo in 2018, he has gradually become a key player for the team and with Carlo Ancelotti as coach has shown his best version, being key in the Champions League 2021/22 title.

However, this season has not been good for him. 'Vini' started La Liga 2023/24 with the responsibility of leading the team after the surprise departure of Karim Benzema to Al-Ittihad of Saudi Arabia, but in August he suffered a muscle injury that left him off the field for a month. And in November the same thing happened to him while he was playing for Brazil against Colombia in the South American qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.

For that reason he has spent more time off the field than available to play. He is now in the final stages of his recovery and is expected to be able to play in the Spanish Super Cup between January 10-14 in Saudi Arabia. In fact, this week he started training with his teammates and his physical condition is improving day by day.

But now the Brazilian winger has made headlines for a reason that has nothing to do with soccer. He is a sports fan and that's why he decided to get a huge tattoo on his back portraying several legendary athletes: Brazilian soccer player Pelé, boxer Muhammad Ali and two former NBA stars: Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan. However, one detail of MJ caught everyone's attention and caused mockery on social media.

What happened?

The famous Spanish tattoo artist Ganga shared on his official Instagram account a video of Vinicius' back with his new tattoos. There you can see Michael Jordan with his legendary Chicago Bulls jersey 23, but something is not right: he is throwing the ball with his left hand, when in reality he was throwing with his right.
