Neymar Jr. is still enjoying his time off from football as his recovery process continues to happen. The Brazilian star is working to get back on the field for Al Hilal later this year, but in the meantime, he continues to have fun in his free time by spending time with family, friends, and celebrities. Over the weekend, Neymar took part in the live stream of popular live streamer Ninja. Neymar was playing poker with Ninja, Jimmy Butler from the Miami Heat, and boxer Ryan Garcia. Neymar was familiar with playing in the past, and he demonstrated in the game against these celebrities as he posted on his Instagram story the amount of money he won. He posted the stack of cash he won and showed off the rankings of the winners. Neymar posted that he was number one while his friend Jimmy Butler was placed in second place. Neymar reportedly won 300k from the poker game ahead of these celebrities on Saturday in a game that took place in Los Angeles.
Yesterday, Neymar continued his stay in Los Angeles, where he had a Puma event with hundreds of fans in attendance. The Brazilian star was at the stop for a presentation while the fans were below. Many Brazilian jerseys were seen, and the excited fans took pictures of Neymar visiting their city. Los Angeles is the city where the Brazilian national team will play their first game of the Copa America. Brazil will take on Costa Rica late today at the SoFi Stadium, with thousands of Brazilian fans expected to attend.
Neymar also took the time to greet the Brazilian national team players before their first match of the Copa America. Neymar is reportedly attending the match to watch Brazil play in this prestigious tournament. The Al Hilal player was training on his own at UCLA, where the Brazilian national team had their training session for their match today. He greeted some familiar faces like Vinicius Jr., Lucas Paqueta, and Marquinhos. He also met some new faces like Yan Couto, Savinho, and Endrick.
Neymar spoke about meeting the Brazilian national team ahead of the Copa America, which starts for them today against Costa Rica at SoFi Stadium. While Neymar is unable to play due to the injury he suffered last October with Brazil, he is happy and excited that the players will play in the United States.
Neymar said, "Yes, it was very nice to meet all my friends and hug them before their first match in Copa America, and I wish them all the best. Their reception of me was good as usual, and I liked it very much." Neymar will reportedly be watching the game between Brazil and Costa Rica today at SoFi Stadium and he will also attend the second match of the group stage. Brazil will play against Paraguay on Friday at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
