He could follow Kylian.

During the last few transfer windows it has been necessary for Barcelona chiefs to find a way to sign top-level players without having to pay a lot of money for them, considering the serious financial problems they have been facing for some time. That is why, for example, they have targeted players who arrived on loan such as Joao Cancelo and Joao Felix, or others who were free agents, such as Ilkay Gundogan and Iñigo Martinez.

That strategy has worked quite well, even though the team's performance was far from expectations. So this summer they will try to do the same. The target in this case is a teammate of Kylian Mbappé in the France national team, who shone during the Qatar 2022 World Cup and who has been excelling in Italy's Serie A for years.

It is Adrien Rabiot. The 28-year-old midfielder has been a standout at Juventus since 2019 and the Italian side's chiefs have intentions to renew his contract that expires on June 30, but so far he has refused to do so and all indications are that he will leave as a free agent once the current season ends. This is not a new move for him, as he did the same thing in the past when he left Paris Saint-Germain.

According to journalist Ekrem Konur, Barcelona are willing to offer him a two-year contract with an option to extend for a third, something that could be tempting for a player who will already be over 30 and facing the final stage of his professional career. In addition, playing for a top club like Los Blaugranas will allow him to continue to have opportunities in the French national team.

What will he do?

While he seems determined to leave Juventus after the end of this season, it is unclear what Adrien Rabiot wants to do with his future. According to reports he not only has the opportunity to go to Barcelona, but also to other European giants such as Manchester United, Newcastle, Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Inter.
