He wants to leave Saudi Arabia.

In December 2022 Al-Nassr officially announced the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo and changed the world soccer map forever. From that moment on, the Pro League grew tremendously and many top players chose to leave Europe to start a new stage of their professional careers in Saudi Arabia.

Stars such as Neymar Junior, Karim Benzema, Sadio Mane, Riyad Mahrez, Marcelo Brozovic, Bono, N'Golo Kanté, Jordan Henderson, Aymeric Laporte, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Kalidou Koulibaly and Aleksandar Mitrovic followed CR7's path and joined the league's top teams such as Al-Nassr, Al-Ittihad, Al-Hilal Al-Ettifaq and Al-Ahli.

Among them is Roberto Firmino. The Brazilian striker shone at Liverpool between 2015 and 2023, scoring 111 goals in 361 appearances and playing a key role in the 2018/19 Champions League and 2019/20 Premier League titles. However, in recent years he had lost prominence and coach Jurgen Klopp began to give more place to other players such as Cody Gakpo and Darwin Nunez. That is why he decided to leave for Al-Ahli in exchange for a tempting salary.

But there things did not go as he expected. His debut was wonderful, with 3 goals vs Al-Hazm. But the happiness was short-lived, as he didn't score again since then and now, with only 3 goals in 18 games, he is receiving strong criticism from fans and even lost his place in the starting lineup. That is why he is considering making a drastic decision.

What will he do?

According to talkSPORT, Roberto Firmino is frustrated at Al-Ahli and is considering leaving Saudi Arabia just six months after arriving. His future could be in the Premier League again, as Sheffield United are interested in signing him. They need him, as they are at the bottom of the table with only two wins in 19 games.
