The Polish striker will be part of the XI after a long time.

Last weekend Barcelona suffered a tough 2-1 defeat against Real Madrid at the Estadio Olimpico Lluis Companys. It was the first 'Clasico' of the 2023/24 season and Los Blaugranas had the illusion of getting a victory that would allow them to overtake their rivals in the La Liga standings and show that they are ready to compete against the best teams in Europe.

Although they showed a good level and played better than Real Madrid for most of the game, Jude Bellingham's talent was too much for them and in the last minutes they were left with nothing. They suffered the absence of their main striker, Robert Lewandowski, who came on during the second half but could not make the difference.

The Polish striker had suffered a sprained ankle on October 4 against Porto and had not played a game since then. But now he is recovered and coach Xavi Hernandez decided to make him part of the starting lineup to face Real Sociedad this Saturday at the Reale Arena stadium.

Barcelona's XI will be: Marc André Ter Stegen; Ronald Araujo, Jules Koundé, Iñigo Martinez, Joao Cancelo; Gavi, Ilkay Gundogan, Alex Balde; Fermin Lopez, Robert Lewandowski, Joao Felix. In addition, the substitutes will be Iñaki Peña, Ander Astralaga, Andreas Christensen, Marcos Alonso, Pedri, Marc Casado, Oriol Romeu, Raphinha, Lamine Yamal and Ferran Torres.

They have a great chance

While Barcelona are in fourth place in the standings with 24 points, Real Sociedad are very close with 19. That is why they will do their best to get a victory that will bring them closer to the Champions League qualification zone. Coach Imanol Alguacil chose this XI: Alejandro Remiro; Hamari Traore, Igor Zubeldia, Robin Le Normand, Aihen Muñoz; Martin Zubimendi, Brais Mendez, Mikel Merino; Takefusa Kubo, Mikel Oyarzabal, Ander Barrenetxea.
