Some players continue to be successful throughout their lives, others struggle much more.

All footballers dream of being stars of the world's top clubs, representing their country's National Team and winning the most important titles. Those who manage to do so surely feel fortunate and are considered by the whole world as successful players. But sometimes after the glory comes oblivion.

That is what happened to this former Real Madrid player. At just 22 years of age he had already received the Golden Boy award for being the best young player of the season, was signed by Los Merengues, won the Champions League and was called up to play for his country's National Team in the 2018 World Cup in Russia. However, today his present is far from that success.

He is Francisco "Isco" Alarcón, the Spanish creative midfielder who dazzled the fans in his beginnings in Valencia and Málaga until he aroused the interest of Real Madrid, who paid $30 million for him in 2013. At La Casa Blanca he played 9 seasons, scored 53 goals and provided 55 assists. In addition, he won 3 Spanish leagues and 5 Champions League titles.

However, after a couple of years in which his performance was not as expected, Florentino Pérez decided to let him go. His arrival at Sevilla was received with enthusiasm by the fans, but he disappointed everyone, as he could barely play 19 games and scored only one goal.

What will happen with Isco?

In January, the Spaniard failed to reach an economic agreement to sign with F.C. Union Berlin and for the last 6 months he has been without a club, waiting for an offer that could suit him. After all, he is only 31 years old and surely can continue to play at the top level for a while longer.
