Jack Grealish is often in the news around the world more for what he does in his spare time than for his performances on the pitch. Although last season he was an important player for Manchester City that won the treble, with 5 goals and 11 assists in 50 games, his level is still far from the one he had at Aston Villa and for which the Citizens paid him more than $100 million.
After winning the Champions League title in Istanbul against Inter, the winger decided to take an intense vacation, which included a trip to Las Vegas and another one to the south of France with his girlfriend Sasha Attwood. Now he continues to relax in Spain, more precisely in Ibiza. He arrived there a week ago, and since then he has been spotted at more than one party under the sun, surrounded by women and alcohol. There was even a video of the player downing a shot of booze and another in which he is seen dancing next to DJ Fisher.
Undoubtedly Grealish knows how to have fun and takes advantage of every free moment to travel and visit new destinations. But surely this must not have made Pep Guardiola, his coach at Manchester City, very happy, as he is already thinking about returning to training to prepare the team for the 2023/24 season.
The Citizens will play two friendly matches this month, on July 26 against Bayern Munich and on July 30 against Atlético Madrid. A week later they will face Arsenal for the Community Shield, looking to win the first title of the season. And on August 11 they will make their Premier League debut against newly-promoted Burnley.
So far Manchester City has only agreed the arrival of midfielder Mateo Kovacic, who arrived from Chelsea in exchange for $30 million. Guardiola is looking to add Croatian defender Josko Gvardiol and Spanish midfielder Gabri Veiga.
