The Uruguayan striker will be reunited with Leo after almost four years.

Inter Miami are determined to become the strongest team in Major League Soccer. The hiring of Lionel Messi in July of this year was a huge success, as he not only helped them on the field with his magic and talent, but also off the field. Leo led the team to their first ever Leagues Cup title, while making them one of the most popular franchises in the United States.

Now millions of fans around the world look forward to each new Herons game to enjoy the Argentine forward's goals, assists and dribbles. This has enabled David Beckham's side to significantly increase its revenues from sponsors, jersey sales and ticket sales.

And not only that. It also motivated many top players to join the team to play with Messi. His former Barcelona teammates Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba were the first to agree to join the club, as well as coach Gerardo Martino. And soon Luis Suarez will follow suit. The Uruguayan striker shone at Barcelona between 2014 and 2020 alongside all of them and from next year will be the team's center-forward.

However, until now it was unclear when Suarez would join the club. Rumors about his arrival have been flooding the newspapers, TV shows and social media for months, but now it seems to have become a reality. According to journalist Luis Omar Tapia, this Thursday Luis was in Miami visiting the club's facilities in Fort Lauderdale and this Friday he will be officially announced as Inter Miami's new player.

He has already said goodbye to his previous club

Luis Suarez had a great year at Gremio in Brazil, but decided not to renew his contract that expires on December 31. After his last game there, he shared a farewell message on social media: "You leave friends. Our children leave friendships. I'm left with the affection I got from the people of Grêmio and also from Internacional (Gremio's rivals). Thank you very much for the affection. See you soon".
