No one can say for sure what will happen with Jadon Sancho. The forward has been punished for almost two months at Manchester United after a public quarrel with Erik Ten Hag and since then he has not played any official match. In fact, he does not even train with his teammates, but does it apart from the squad, with United's academy.
But that's not all. His punishment not only affects him on the field, but also off it. A few weeks ago reports informed that Jadon is also banned from entering the canteen that is located at the club's training ground and is intended for professional players. As a result, he cannot even have lunch with his teammates.
According to The Athletic, the solution to this problem is absurd: every day he gets his food in a lunchbox while he is in the academy building. And there's more. Since he is forbidden to enter the professional squad's locker room, he also dresses with the youth teams, but to avoid accidentally mixing with underage players, he has to lock himself in the dressing room.
However, reports indicate that his relationship with the club's young players is very good and he even went to watch Manchester United's U-18 team at Carrington in a match against Nottingham Forest. And after the final whistle he stayed to talk to the players.
Jadon Sancho's future at Manchester United does not seem possible. The Red Devils paid $90 million for him in 2021 and so they will try to recover at least part of the investment, but they know that for now it will be difficult for another club to pay a fortune for a player who in the January transfer window will not play for 4 months. That is why they will agree to negotiate a loan, with Borussia Dortmund and Juventus being some of the clubs interested.
