The Al-Nassr striker has already chosen where he will live when he retires from soccer.

Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the most important players in soccer history. He has been a star for the last 20 years, shining for clubs such as Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus and winning the most important titles, such as the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Champions League and Club World Cup. In addition, individually he has also been very successful: he is the player with the most goals of all time and has won the Ballon d'Or five times.

That has also allowed him to become a celebrity, being the person with the most followers on Instagram (over 600 million), as well as being in the news all the time in newspapers, TV shows and social media around the world. And that also shows in his fortune: he is one of the richest athletes in the world. In fact, no soccer player makes more money than him right now (over $200 million per year at Al-Nassr).

That fortune allows him to live a luxurious life with his girlfriend, Argentine model and businesswoman Georgina Rodriguez. And while he has assured that he intends to continue playing for much longer, at the age of 38 he is already thinking about what he will do once his professional career is over.

That's why more than a year ago he started building a mansion in Cascais, Portugal, where he plans to live after leaving soccer. The house will be worth $28 million once it is finished, and will have four floors, four luxury suites, two swimming pools, a cinema, gym, tennis court and two garages with space for more than 20 cars. In addition, Italian marble will be used inside the house and the faucets will be solid gold.

The neighbors are not happy

Construction work began more than a year ago and will continue for at least another year. That is causing some problems for Cristiano Ronaldo, as reports indicate that the neighbors are upset about the street cuts and the dust that these works cause. And they even ironically call the mansion the "pyramid of Pharaoh Ronaldo".
