The most important national team tournament in the continent will be held next summer.

The Argentine National Team are the last Copa America champions. In 2021 they beat Brazil 1-0 at the Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro with a goal by Angel Di Maria and celebrated their first title in 28 years. It was also a special victory for Lionel Messi, as it allowed him to be champion for the first time with Argentina, starting a glorious stage that continued with the titles in the Finalissima and the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

Next summer the tournament will be played once again, this time in the United States. The opening match will be played on June 20 at the Mercedez-Benz Arena in Atlanta and the last champions will be there, while the final will be on July 14 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

In total, there will be 14 venues. In addition to those mentioned in Miami and Atlanta, the following will be added: Allegiant Stadium (Las Vegas), AT&T Stadium (Arlington), Bank of America Stadium (Charlotte), Children's Mercy Park (Kansas City) GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium (Kansas), Exploria Stadium (Orlando), Levi's Stadium (Santa Clara), MetLife Stadium (East Rutherford), NRG Stadium (Houston), Q2 Stadium (Austin), SoFi Stadium (Inglewood) and State Farm Stadium (Glendale).

The draw for the teams that will make up each of the four groups will take place this Thursday in Miami. Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and the United States will be the leaders of each group. In the second group will be Uruguay, Ecuador, Colombia and Peru; in the third group will be Chile, Venezuela, Panama and Paraguay; and in the fourth group will be Jamaica, Bolivia and the winners of the playoffs between Honduras vs Costa Rica and Canada vs Trinidad and Tobago.

It will be a star-studded tournament

The most important players of the continent will be present at the Copa America. Lionel Messi and Angel Di Maria have already confirmed that they will be representing Argentina. Brazil will bring stars like Vinicius and Rodrygo, besides waiting for Neymar's recovery. Liverpool's aces Darwin Nuñez and Luis Diaz will play for Uruguay and Colombia, respectively, while the United States will be led by Christian Pulisic and Mexico by Santiago Gimenez.
