The English winger is not considered by Ten Hag and could return to Germany.

On August 26th Jadon Sancho played his last game for Manchester United. That day he came on during the second half in the 3-2 victory against Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford. The following week coach Erik Ten Hag decided not to call him up for the match against Arsenal in London and, when asked about this, claimed it was due to the player's performances during training. This infuriated the winger, who a few minutes later shared a message on social media accusing the Dutch manager of being a liar.

Faced with this scenario, the club's chiefs decided to punish Sancho by removing him from the squad and sending him to coach with United's academy. And since then the situation has not changed. Reports even indicate that the player refuses to apologize in an attempt to remedy the conflict.

That is why his departure from the club is likely to happen this winter. The Red Devils know they won't recoup the $90 million investment they made for him in 2021, but they at least want to get something for his departure. And they may be able to do so thanks to Borussia Dortmund's interest in having Jadon back.

There the English winger showed excellent performances between 2017 and 2021. Therefore, taking advantage of his situation at Manchester United, they will try to sign him. According to journalist Christian Falk, this Friday there will be a meeting in Dortmund regarding the transfer. The intention of the German side is to exchange Donyell Malen for Sancho. The Dutch forward is worth almost $35 million and could be an interesting alternative for Ten Hag.

There are other possibilities

In addition to Borussia Dortmund, other teams, such as Juventus, are interested in Jadon Sancho. The Italian side also targeted Donny Van De Beek, another player who has not had a place in Manchester United this season and could leave in the next transfer window.
